Before the establishment of The Dawn Quranic Institute in 2008, it began with a small group of eight passionate brothers and sisters who aspired to master the correct recitation of the Holy Quran. These dedicated individuals successfully graduated with Ijaza certification and soon became the foundation of The Dawn Quranic Institute’s teaching staff. This pivotal moment at The Dawn laid the groundwork for a continuous cycle of learning and teaching the Science of Tajweed.
The Dawn Quran Institute also supported establishing other Quran centers Australia wide in many cities such as Melbourne and Adelaide.

From humble beginnings The Dawn, by the will of Allah, has now:
• Approximately 400 students
• Approximately 100 qualified teaching staff 

To empower future generations to inherit the science of Quranic recitation through the Sanad (the chain of Quranic recitation) tracing back to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

Our environment is rooted in Islamic values, ensuring that every aspect of the institute reflects the teachings of the Quran & Sunnah.

• To train elite Quranic reciters and memorisers, thereby achieving a high standard of Quranic recitation within the Australian community.

• Through a structured curriculum, professional teachers, and a variety of courses for men, women, and children, we provide quality Quranic education, fostering a deep connection with the Quran.
